It was a “Sold-Out” show on Saturday, April 12th to see Maggie Mae and Heartland Country Band at the Pittsville School district Auditorium! The Maggie Mae concert was a benefit event for the Wisconsin Persian Gulf Tribute now under construction at The Highground. This tribute will honor all who served in the military in the Persian Gulf region, which includes Iraq and Afghanistan.
It was a quite a sight to see such a large crowd enjoying the upbeat, highly talented show. There were many, many times in the concert that Maggie Mae and Heartland Country Band played selections that honored our military veterans and families. In fact, the main stage decorations were two large United States flags.
The concert brought in over $7,600 to help in the Persian Gulf Tribute’s continued construction. The Highground and those who support the Persian Gulf Tribute would like to thank Maggie Mae and The Heartland Country Band for putting on such an exciting, high-energy, patriotic show! They would also like to thank WCCN 107.5 the Rock, WWIS 99.7 The Star, B-104.9 the Legends of Country, Hardee’s and Chippewa Graphics for their support of this meaningful event.
An April 2015 concert for The Highground is being planned and details will be posted on this site as they are confirmed.
Thank you to all that came to the show!!
